Use Monton with Claude
A good plan often starts in a Claude chat, and then it gets stuck there. To share it, you copy it into another tool, and when your team comments, you paste their feedback back into Claude and copy the new version out again.
With Monton, Claude writes the doc in a shared online workspace instead. Your team reads it in the browser or on a phone and comments on the exact passage they want changed. Claude reads those comments, revises the doc and replies in each thread. We keep every version, with who made it, so you can see what Claude changed and restore an earlier version.
These steps work in Claude on the web, in the desktop app and in the mobile apps.
Add Monton to Claude
Open Monton in Claude's directory and choose Connect.
Sign in to Monton when Claude asks. If you don't have an account yet, signing in creates one, with a workspace and a doc called Start here.
If the directory isn't available to you, add Monton as a custom connector: open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Monton, and paste https://monton.dev/mcp. Then sign in to Monton when Claude asks. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds Monton first, from the directory or as a custom connector.
Try it
In a new chat, ask:
Read Start here in my Monton workspace, then write a one-page plan for something I'm working on, and tell me when it's ready for comments.Or, at the end of a chat you already had:
Put the plan from this chat in a new doc in my Monton workspace, in the plans folder.Open the doc at monton.dev, select a passage that needs work, and comment on it. Then ask Claude:
Check my Monton inbox. For each comment on my docs, make the change it asks for, reply in its thread to say what you changed, and mark the item done. You can also ask Claude to find something across your docs:
Search my Monton workspace for what we decided about pricing, and tell me which docs say it.Teach Claude the routine
Monton's skill teaches Claude the routine of checking the inbox, answering comments and replying in threads, so you don't have to explain it each time. Download the .zip from Help, then open Settings in claude.ai, find Skills, and upload it.
Share the work
Invite your team to a workspace, or share one folder or doc with someone, as an editor, a commenter or a viewer. Each person can connect their own Claude, or another agent, to the same docs. History shows each change with the person or agent who made it.
Also on your computer
If you use Claude Code too, read Use Monton with Claude Code. It reaches the same workspaces.
